One of the worst experiences ever. This place needs to be shut down. Totally unprofessional. All they want is to scam you and your insurance. Front desk is also horribly unprofessional and nasty. STEER CLEAR OF THIS “DOCTORS” OFFICE

Place deserves 0 stars. I never write reviews but I’d like to save someone else the headache of this establishment. All they want to do is scam you and/or your insurance companies. Absolutely ridiculous and the front desk girl is the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to. She was extremely nasty when I was very polite to her right from the beginning, I know that she works in multiple offices for this company so beware of her and her terrible nasty attitude no matter which one you go to. She’ll write very inappropriate text messages to you and hang up the phone when you’re still speaking. Cannot get over the unprofessionalism. I will NEVER go back. Scammers!!!

Dr. Kaplan spent a great deal of time with me, one on one, going over my head trauma history, etc., and followed up with conducting a battery of tests, conducted for the most part by his exceptional and very personable team, all in an effort to determine what was causing intermittent headaches. stinging pains, and sore spots in my head. And, managing to rule out my concerns re the possibility of a brain aneurysm. AlI done in one day...remarkable in this day and age. I am grateful to the Good Doctor, Omar and Andrea, and equally to Lori at the front desk, a gem who set the tone for my introduction to this wonderful group. I left breathing a sigh of relief, with Dr. Kaplan confident I was not dealing with a potentially worst case scenario, and an understanding of what was triggering the adverse events, how I might deal with them, and hoping some pt and peace of mind will help minimize my discomfort going forward. Hope this helps others in need.

I am very disappointed with the doctor Fiona Gupta. She was supposed to call us with the study of results as promised never called us back, even the front desk would not answer, they very rude and unprofessional

Beginning with the outstanding customer service from the first phone call (thank you, Efrem) to the way I was greeted, the care provided by Malena who conducted the EMG test and above all, Dr. Cohen: she was absolutely wonderful making me feel at ease, explaining everything, being so patient and kind with me when I came in with so much pain and fear...I cannot say enough. I highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Sylvia Cohen.

I saw Michael today and I can’t tell you how much he has changed the quality of my life. I was in agony with my TMJ, jaw and neck! I have had three previous surgeries on all three areas and suffer with debilitating muscle spasms! The spasms were acting up due to stress from my job. I received trigger point injections and Michael knows exactly where to inject the medication! I know because of Michael I will get to enjoy my daughter who is home from college! Thank you Michael for all you do to improve my quality of life!!!

The visit with Dr Kaplan was the best doctor visit EVER. He was careful, patient, knowledgeable, spent time and cleared up important medical mysteries for me. I am very thankful to him.

I see Michael the PA in the Long Beach office for the past several. I have severe muscle spasms in my neck, jaw, shoulders and upper back. They are extremely painful and debilitating. Michael gives me Botox injections every third month and in between trigger point shots. He is outstanding in his knowledge of where to injection into my muscles. My chronic pain has deminished substantially. I am so so very grateful for Michael’s expertise!! He is an outstanding provider and I highly highly recommend your trying him!!!

I unfortunately suffer from a number of conditions with complicated symptoms that my cardiologist and hepatologist were unable to help me understand . After one visit Dr. Kaplan ordered bloods and determined I had high ammonia that resulted in nerve damage and peripheral neuropathy that made it difficult to regulate my blood pressure. Today I am much improved thanks to Dr. Kaplan. I have never written a review but was so impressed by Dr. Kaplan that I felt I needed to. Thanks Dr. Kaplan you’re the best.

Grammercy Park Neurologists is a pleasure to visit. From the moment you arrive Reception is attentive and helpful. Dr Mohen listens to what you have to say, looks at your situation from different angles, and is never patronizing.

When I met with Dr. Kaplan he was very thorough with the exam. I was very pleased with the visit. He did not diagnose me. He referred me to Dr. Debra Shabas. I will update new information when I get it.

Dr. Shabas is not only an expert in the field of neurology, but she truly cares about her patients. She treats her patients as people, taking the time to listen. As I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia, which is an extremely painful condition, she has successfully helped me with pain management, as well as offered options of various available treatments. I take comfort in knowing that Dr. Shabas, who is an excellent neurologist, is with me every step of the way.

From the moment I arrived, to see Dr. Starkman, his receptionist Sue, was very pleasant, helpful and most professional. Dr. Starkman took me right at my appointed time and then spent an hour and a half with me. He never was interrupted and gave me all of his attention. This is truly unheard of in this day and age of medicine. I found Dr. Starkman extremely knowledgeable and caring. He explained each procedure he performed on me and what I should expect as we move forward to cure my problem. Dr. Kaplan is an excellent doctor. He correctly diagnose the root cause of my tongue deviation and recommended me to meet with a neurosurgeon at CUMC who confirmed Dr. Kaplan's diagnoses and recommended next steps. The neurosurgeon said I have a very good neurologist.

Dr. Sidhwani took so much time to go over my history and symptoms to really try to help me figure out the best course of treatment. I have never had a doctor give so much time/attention to an appt! The staff here is very friendly as well. Wait times are not too long at all.
